Dr. Panchanan Pradhan is a development professional with over 25 years of experience in Institution Building, Community Mobilization, Livelihood Promotion, Capacity Building, and dairy sector development. He hold a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW). He has worked with leading organizations including NDDB – supported Milk Producer Companies, Mother Dairy, Bapudham Milk Producer Company, VRS Foods Ltd., HelpAge India, MSV International, and other reputed development agencies. His expertise includes Producer Institution Building, Governance, Membership Development, Women Empowerment, Capacity Building, Community Engagement, Organizational Development, and strengthening Village Based Milk Procurement System. Having worked closely with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) and NDDB Dairy Services, he has contributed significantly to the establishment and strengthening of Producer – owned dairy institutions. At PAAYAS Milk Producer Organization, he leads “Institution Building and Member Development initiatives, focusing on governance, Member engagement, leadership development, and organizational sustainability.” He is committed to empowering rural communities, particularly women milk producers, through collective action and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
