Paayas Launches Treatment Programme for Milk Producer Member Animals

Paayas has taken yet another step towards milk producer member welfare by launching treatment programme for their animals , in collaboration with Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited ( BFIL ) which is a subsidiary of Indusind Bank. Under the said programme, a team of a qualified Veterinarian and a para vet has been deployed in each of the area to provide emergency services to the animals belonging to the milk producer members. When required, the milk producer members may call on a toll free number for registration post which they will receive a SMS confirming registration. This will be followed by visit of a veterinarian to member’s door step for treatment which includes issue of required medicines.

The programme was launched on 5th January 2023 by Dr. Himmat Singh, Advisor, Paayas in presence of milk producer members of that area in village Pahadi falling in Niwai Tehsil in Tonk district. Dr. Himmat Singh presented an over view of Paayas productivity enhancement programme ( PES ) in general and the newly introduced animal treatment programme in particular. Dr. Tejaram Sirvi, Head ( PES ) deliberated on twin topics - importance of Paayas Artificial Insemination Programme in breed improvement and importance of calf rearing in dairying. Dr. Anil Agarwal, Assistant Manager ( PES ) detailed the role of balanced cattle feed, mineral mixture etc in animal health. Shri Shrwan Lall Yadav, Cluster Manager interacted with the producer members and addressed their queries on Paayas milk procurement operations.

The milk producer members profusely thanked the organization for launching the said service and unanimously informed that Paayas has immensely been benefitting them by putting in place a clean and transparent milk procurement system including remittance of producer payment through their respective bank account with clock like punctuality , on one hand and offering a rich basket of services such as balanced cattle feed, minieral mixture, ration balancer, fodder seed, artificial insemination, model dairy farming etc at their door step, on the other.

We would like to thank all the milk producer member families who have whole heartedly been cooperating with the organization enabling us achieve a respectable magnitude in a short span. A word of thank and gratitude is also due to NDDB and NDDB Dairy Services for tirelessly supporting us all along our journey.

Paayas received Marketer of the Year Award 2021

Krishi Udyami Krishak Vikas Chamber, during the Progressive Agri Leadership Summit 2021, conferred the prestigious Krishi Udyami Krishak Ratan Puraskar - Marketer of the Year on Paayas Milk Producer Company Limited. The said award was presented to us by Shri Parshottam Rupala, Honourable Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India in presence of Agriculture Minister of Haryana & Himachal Pradesh, Vice Chancellor, Faculty Members and distinguished industry luminaries at Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry, Nauni-Solan, Himachal Pradesh on 18th December 2021. The farmer Board members received the said award on behalf of the company. On being requested, Chairperson delivered a talk as to how the company grew brick by brick and how, in a short span of 9 years, is currently commanding a strong membership base of close to 110000 farmer member families scattered over 3500 villages in 8 districts of Rajasthan, with a milk procurement level of more than 8 lakh litres per day, remitting producer payment in farmer member's respective bank accounts, besides making an array of productivity enhancement services available at farmer's door step. The august audiences were very happy to note the growth of Paayas Milk Producer Company.

It is an honour to receive this award early during our journey. May we thank all the stake holders for their continued support tirelessly to enable us achieve this state.

Jaipur attended 45th Dairy Industry Conference at BCEC, Goregaon (East), Mumbai, during  which Smt.Mamta Choudhary,Paayas Director received prestigious ‘Dairy Woman of The Year’ award – 2017 from Indian Dairy Association. It is the consecutive year in which a Paayas director has received this coveted award. Previous year Smt.Manju Jakhar, Paayas Director had bagged it.
